#History

In 2013, KRUGANS started its production of customized sports wetsuits with the exclusive concept of Original Wet Design.
The brand initially originated as an extension of KRUGANS KIMONOS, founded by Afonso Camerotte in the 90s, a reference brand in Brazilian jiu-jitsu academies for having developed the first kimono specifically for jiu-jitsu.
It was his daughter Vicky Machado Netto, Graphic Designer and lover of the sea, who started the new brand of the KRUGANS Group. After feeling the need to have your exclusive wetsuit for surfing.
Inspired by her family’s artistic vein, she began creating personal models alongside her mother, the plastic artist Adriana Feijó. The pieces soon became a hit among her friends and that’s how KRUGANS PRAIA was born.
